Community Development – IWAA

IWAA delivers a range of community capacity building projects to respond to community needs.

The Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) program funds community-based organisations to support greater intercultural connectedness so that people from culturally diverse backgrounds can achieve their aspirations for social and economic participation

We currently receive funding under the Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) program to deliver state-wide service to CAMS program to deliver services and activities to CALD communities in South Brisbane.

Under this program IWAA consults with CALD communities about local issues and delivers activities that build social connectedness for this group.
