Galila is the founder and CEO of IWAA (previously Islamic Women's Association of Australia). The organisation began over 40 years ago initially as a support for Muslim women in Brisbane. Since then it has grown to provide aged care, disability and settlement services. IWAA can be found in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
